Hare Ram Pandey: A Beacon of Hope for Abandoned Girls

In the heart of Deogarh, Jharkhand, there resides a true hero named Hare Ram Pandey, who has dedicated his life to raising, nurturing, and educating 35 girls whom he found abandoned in the most dire circumstances. Mr. Pandey’s story is one of unwavering determination and boundless love.

A Father’s Love: “Baba” to Many

Mr. Pandey’s unbreakable bond with the girls he takes under his wing is best described as that of a father. These girls lovingly call him “Baba,” a testament to the deep connection and love he offers. The local and railway police, along with the local administration in Deoghar, rely on Mr. Pandey to care for abandoned girls. In a 150-200-km radius, there is no trust like his, making him the go-to person for such cases.

Education and Aspirations

The girls under Mr. Pandey’s care receive love, shelter, and education. Taapsee and Khushi, for example, are now in junior college and aspire to become doctors. It’s a testament to the nurturing environment Mr. Pandey has created at the Narayan Sewa Ashram.

Challenges and Unwavering Determination

While Mr. Pandey’s work is undeniably noble, his challenges are significant. Providing for a family of 40, including the couple, their son, and his wife, is a daily struggle. Mr. Pandey’s income from farming on family land has diminished with age, and he finds it increasingly difficult to provide for the needs of the girls he has adopted.

A Plea for Support

Hare Ram Pandey’s selfless dedication to these abandoned girls is a shining example of humanity’s capacity for kindness and love. His efforts deserve our support and admiration.
