16th International Sufi Rang Festival: A Celebration of Divine Love and Artistic Unity

The 16th International Sufi Rang Festival commenced with grandeur and spiritual fervor at the revered shrine of Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty in Ajmer, Rajasthan, drawing Sufi exponents from an impressive 40 countries.

This annual extravaganza, orchestrated by Syed Salman Chishty, the Gaddinashin of the Dargah and Chairman of the Chishty Foundation, has become a beacon of cultural exchange and artistic expression.

Curated by Mehmood Shaikh and Azeem Memon of Mumbai, the Festival transcends borders, celebrating divine love through various sacred art forms.

It encompasses the eloquence of calligraphic inscriptions, the ethereal melodies of Spiritual Sufi Musical renditions, the profound verses of poetry, and thought-provoking seminars on Sufism. Moreover, it fosters heart-to-heart dialogues aimed at promoting peace, unity, and harmony on a global scale.

The Festival’s inclusive ethos reflects the universal teachings of Khawaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishty and the practices of the Chishty Sufi Order, serving as a testament to the power of unconditional love.

Traditionally, followers of the Sufi Chishty order assembled physically, hailing from India, South Asia, and various corners of the world. However, in the face of evolving circumstances, this year’s event adopted a virtual format, extending its reach even further.

For 16 years, the International Sufi Rang Festival has been India’s largest Sacred Spiritual Sufi Art Festival. It acts as a unique art exhibition, an annual gathering that unites esteemed Sufi artists, calligraphers, painters, curators, and visual artists from India and different continents worldwide.

This extraordinary celebration of culture and spirituality continues to be a testament to the enduring power of art in fostering global understanding and unity.
