A 94-year-old Indian athlete who proves age is just a number

Haryana’s Bhagwani Devi Dagar proves that age is just a number. 94-year-old Indian athlete Bhagwani Devi Dagar won three medals, including a gold, at the World Masters Sports Championship in Finland. Bhagwani Devi, much older than her age, completed the 100-meter race in 24.74 seconds at the turn of age, where people look for the support of their loved ones to walk. She later won a bronze medal in the discus throw event and followed it up with another bronze medal in the shot put event. The World Masters Athletics Championships were held in Tampere, Finland, from June 29 to July 10, 2022.
This championship is open for participants over the age of 35.
The competitors are divided into five age categories in this game. Bhagwani Devi, 94, of India, has once again demonstrated that age is no obstacle if you set your mind to it!

Tampere hosted the World Masters Athletics Championships. Finland, she won gold in the 100m sprint. Finland, with a time of 24.74 seconds. She also won bronze in the shot put. Bhagwani Devi had earlier earned the opportunity to represent India at the World Masters Athletics Championships by winning three gold medals at the National Masters Athletics Championships held in Chennai.
