The Gujjar or tribal are an ethnic minority group living in Jammu and Kashmir for centuries. They have their unique culture and are primarily known for their pastoral and nomadic lifestyle. They speak the Gojri dialect and have distinct attire, especially for the women folk. However, in present times, the rich tradition of their attire especially the skull cap is fading.
