Poonch Fort is one of those affluent cities in Jammu and Kashmir that is brimming with historical attractions to see, and the Poonch Fort is one of them. The spectacular structure lies on top of a hilltop and covers an area of 7,500 square metres, making it one of the region’s top attractions.
The several monuments that construct the entire fort illustrate the various reigning rulers of these realms’ high degree of great architectural style. The original constructions, which bore notable resemblances to traditional Mughal architecture, were laid by the Dogra monarchs of the eighteenth century.
