Afrid Afroz: Embarking on a Distinguished Journey as an Aspiring Fighter Pilot

Afrid Afroz, who recently received the prestigious NDA Best Cadet Award and the President’s Gold Medal, is soaring with ambition. Standing at the precipice of a promising career in the Indian Air Force, Afrid eagerly anticipates the realization of his lifelong aspiration—to become a fighter pilot.

Expressing his deep conviction, Afrid declares, “The greatest contribution one can make to their nation is safeguarding its borders, even at the cost of one’s life. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to protect my country’s pride and honour through my service in the armed forces.”

Though Afrid Afroz has already experienced the exhilaration of seven sorties in a Super Dimona, an Austrian aircraft, during his time at NDA, he found it enthralling but not quite fulfilling. He eagerly yearns to take flight in a high-speed fighter aircraft, driven by an unyielding passion for aerial combat.
