India’s National Security Tackled in a Comprehensive and Holistic Manner, says Former Deputy NSA

Pankaj Saran, former Deputy National Security Advisor and chief of the think tank NatStrat highlighted that India’s national security is being addressed comprehensively and holistically, without any compartments or silos, for the first time.

Threats to India’s security are no longer limited to military or terrorism but from various sources such as money laundering, information warfare, cyber security, economic warfare, trade protectionism, and weaponization of finance.

The national security apparatus must respond to these multiple exposures, including global warming, climate changes, health, etc. in a comprehensive, interconnected, holistic, and organic manner.
