Nikhat Zareen Becomes Deputy Superintendent of Police in Telangana

World Boxing Champion Nikhat Zareen has officially taken on a new role as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Telangana. The ceremony to celebrate this achievement took place on Thursday and was attended by many important figures. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President B. Mahesh Goud, and Telangana DGP Dr. Jitendra were among the dignitaries present. This event marks a significant moment not only for Nikhat but also for the state of Telangana, as she steps into a role that combines her passion for sports with public service.

Promoting Sports in Telangana

During the ceremony, the Chief Minister also launched the CM’s Cup, an initiative aimed at encouraging sports talent across the state. This cup is designed to inspire young athletes to pursue their dreams and showcase their skills. By promoting sports, the government hopes to create more opportunities for youth in Telangana. Nikhat’s new position as DSP is seen as a way to motivate young people to follow their passions, just as she has done in her boxing career.
