Promoting Moderate Islam: The Charter of Makkah

Under the leadership of Dr. Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Charter of Makkah has emerged as a beacon of hope for the Muslim world. This groundbreaking treatise, endorsed unanimously by leading Muslim scholars, provides a 30-point framework to combat terrorism and extremism and foster peaceful coexistence with other faiths.

While some critics argue that it borrows from Western ideals, the Charter has received international acclaim for offering a Muslim perspective that embraces religious and cultural diversity.

With over 1,200 muftis, scholars, and 4,500 Islamic thinkers signing the Charter, it has become a reference point for imam training and a crucial tool in changing global perceptions of Islam.
