From Ajmer To Punjab: Muslim Leaders’ Call For Peace

Amidst recent violence in Haryana’s Nuh and Gurugram, Muslim leaders in India, including Syed Zainulabdeen Chisty, the spiritual head of Ajmer Sharif Dargah and a descendant of Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisty, are fervently calling for peace and unity. They plea to eradicate hatred and communal strife threatening the nation, especially impacting the younger generation.

Chisty’s heartfelt words resonate with a powerful message, transcending religious boundaries. He beckons citizens of all faiths to shoulder the responsibility of nurturing peace. He implores leaders, irrespective of their backgrounds, to exercise restraint in their rhetoric, leading the charge toward tranquility. “Our country stands above politics,” he asserts, urging a collective endeavor to safeguard India’s unity, integrity, and serenity.

Sardar Mohammad Mazhar Alam of Jamiat Ulmahe-Hind and Wuna Masjid passionately underscores that peace forms the bedrock of Islam. He unequivocally denounces the loss of life, emphasizing that harmony must transcend any provocation, religion, or community. Maulana Anwar Amritsari, a fearless intellectual and prolific author, strongly condemns attempts to disrupt Hindu-Muslim unity. His words are poignant and forceful, branding the violence as a sinister conspiracy that the government must unveil.
