‘Tiranga Rally’ Demonstrates Kashmir’s Unity and Patriotism Post Article 370

Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, highlighted the resounding success of the ‘Tiranga Rally‘ in Srinagar, debunking doubts about Kashmiris’ willingness to embrace the national flag after the revocation of Article 370. Sinha’s remarks referenced the former chief minister’s statement predicting a lack of enthusiasm for the Indian flag in the region following the Article’s abrogation.

Before the rally, Sinha himself participated in the event, where the presence of the tricolor in every hand and the infectious enthusiasm exhibited by the participants marked a significant moment for Kashmiris.

Addressing the rally, Sinha celebrated the massive turnout, viewing it as a robust response to those who once doubted Kashmir’s commitment to the national flag without Article 370. The event showcased a remarkable transformation, with not only government officials and police personnel but also a substantial number of Srinagar residents taking part.

Sinha attributed this shift to people’s realization that they are responsible for actively engaging in change and demonstrating their respect for the tricolor.

The enthusiasm extended beyond Srinagar, as towns, district headquarters, and border areas across the Kashmir region hosted similar rallies to commemorate the occasion. The widespread participation reflected the unity and patriotism of the Kashmiri people, defying skepticism and asserting their dedication to the nation.

The ‘Tiranga Rally’ marked a poignant moment in the post-Article 370 era, showcasing that the spirit of unity and love for the nation remained undeterred. The event exemplified Kashmir’s desire to display its allegiance to the Indian flag and highlighted the evolving narrative in the region. As the tricolor waved proudly in the hands of the people, it symbolized a renewed sense of identity and patriotism among Kashmiris, reiterating their commitment to a united and diverse India.
