Ramzan Chowdhary: Heroic Lawyer Rescues Magistrate and Daughter Amidst Nuh Riots

Ramzan Chowdhary, a valiant Mewat court lawyer, displayed unwavering courage and selflessness during the Nuh riots as he rushed to the aid of a magistrate and her daughter in a difficult situation. The harrowing incident occurred on July 31st, and Chowdhary’s heroic actions are in memory.

The events unfolded when District Sessions Judge Sushil Garg urgently summoned Chowdhary. The judge revealed that Magistrate Anjali Jain and her young daughter had narrowly escaped hostage by rioters as they sought refuge in a roadways workshop. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, Chowdhary swiftly devised a plan.

He immediately contacted a friend, Zubair, who lived nearby and had access to the workshop. Zubair and a group of others reassured Magistrate Jain of her safety and strategically provided an escape route by lowering a long wooden ladder from the workshop’s roof. Despite their efforts, Jain hesitated due to the volatile atmosphere and attempted to establish a phone connection with the district court, which unfortunately failed.

Chowdhary’s dedication did not waver. He communicated the ordeal to Judge Garg, who urged him to intervene personally. Chowdhary braves a riot-torn city, navigating violent mobs on a perilous journey to the workshop. He encountered hostile individuals along the way but gained passage through recognition.

Under Chowdhary’s protection, Magistrate Jain, her daughter, and her PSO were given respite and nourishment. Chowdhary took the wheel, ensuring their safe passage to their intended destination. Magistrate Jain files FIR, praising Chowdhary and lawyers for safeguarding lives.”

Chowdhary’s selfless heroism during the Nuh riots showcases compassion and courage in adversity, saving lives and demonstrating human solidarity.
