Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind’s Noble Housing Initiative

Amidst an anti-encroachment drive in Haryana’s Mewat, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind‘s housing initiative shines. Dharampal, the lone Hindu among the affected predominantly Muslim families, discovers solace in unexpected unity, showcasing resilience.

Hope Arises: A Shelter for All

On Makar Sankranti Day, January 14, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind volunteers embarked on a compassionate mission. They not only compiled a list of affected families but also laid the foundation stone for homes in Madani Nagar Colony, Firozpur Jhirka, including one for Dharampal. A unique blend of religions, symbolizing unity in adversity.

Beyond Religious Boundaries

Dharampal, grateful for the support, expressed his joy at the unexpected aid. He marveled at the fact that Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, India’s largest Muslim organization, had extended a helping hand across religious lines. This act of solidarity was beyond his expectations.

A Testament to Humanity

Maulana Hakimuddin Qasmi, General Secretary of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, emphasized the organization’s commitment to humanity without discrimination. As government bulldozers affected both Muslim and non-Muslim dwellings, the organization stepped in to alleviate the suffering.

Project Hope: Rebuilding Lives

Initiating a commendable project, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind set out to construct three colonies exclusively for the displaced victims of the anti-encroachment drive, facing the harshness of winter head-on. One such settlement, Madani, stands as a testament to the organization’s dedication to rehabilitation.

A Helping Hand Extended

Dharampal, who owned land near the colony but lacked the means to build, found his fortunes changing. A delegation from Jamiat Ulama laid the foundation for his new home, demonstrating that compassion knows no boundaries.

Unforgettable Support

Maulana Rahimuddin, a victim of the demolition, expressed profound gratitude to Maulana Mahmood Madani and Maulana Hakimuddin Qasmi for their unwavering support during their darkest hours.

A Pledge to Serve

Maulana Hakimuddin Qasmi, in a resolute statement, declared that the rehabilitation efforts in Mewat were progressing. Some houses were already complete, while work on others continued. The organization vowed to persist until every needy individual found solace, echoing their commitment to unwavering service.
