At the INI, the instructors educate the recruited religious teachers about India’s rich cultural heritage, its civilization, and the common aspects of all religions. As Brigadier Vitekar adds, “We lay the foundation of national integration here.” The institute’s approach to teaching religious instructors encourages national cohesion and religious peace, ensuring that the Indian Army remains a cohesive and unified force.
