Bollywood OTT Releases in June 2025: 7 Movies and Web Series to Stream on Netflix, Prime Video, and More

This June, Bollywood's OTT offerings are as diverse as an Indian wedding buffet. If all you want is laughter, tears, or maybe to leave reality behind for a few hours, there's a film or series perfect for you.

June 2025 is here, and Bollywood’s OTT buffet is open for business—serving everything from royal intrigue and action-packed showdowns to comedies that’ll make you snort chai through your nose. No matter how often you watch TV, this month’s schedule includes thrilling, dramatic, and hilarious options. So grab your popcorn (or samosas) because these seven releases will turn your living room into a mini multiplex.

Stolen (Amazon Prime Video, June 4): Crime, Chaos, and Chilling Realism

Stolen WhatsApp interactions make your family WhatsApp look like a calm conversation. Rural India is the setting in this thriller, directed by Karan Tejpal, and the kidnapping of a boy sets events in motion that give even the toughest crime reporters a run for their money. Their acting is so realistic that you may think Abhishek Banerjee and Mia Maelzer have worked secretly for the CBI. The dark, intense tone doesn’t make you feel heartfelt emotions—it takes them away completely and wants you to solve what happened.

Set in rural surroundings, with moral and justice themes in the forefront, Stolen is not a classic detective story. It’s a story that gets to you and asks if your morals would hold up if you found yourself with such slippery laws. So, if you’re in the mood for something that’ll keep you glued to your seat (and maybe double-check your door locks), Stolen is your must-watch this June.

Jaat (Netflix, June 5): Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, and a Coastal Showdown

It’s time to make room for something other than Marvel. Bollywood has its superhero, who happens to wear a uniform and punch villains instead of aliens. With Jaat, Sunny Deol again enacts the celebrated “dhai kilo ka haath” role as Brigadier Baldev Pratap Singh, who duels with Randeep Hooda’s wicked Ranatunga. The setting? An isolated village by the ocean, where battles between good and evil get very serious because nobody wants to pay more for cable than their neighbors.

The film, under the direction of Gopichand Malineni, is a fast-paced action thriller for those who feel that action movies ended in the ’90s. Enjoy exciting car chases, emotional conversations, and tonnes of slow-motion shots. If you’re tired of superheroes in spandex and want some good old-fashioned Bollywood action, Jaat is the guilty pleasure you didn’t know you needed.

Ground Zero (Amazon Prime Video, June 27): Real-Life Heroics, Bollywood Style

If you worry about stress at work, you should watch Emraan Hashmi’s character in Ground Zero, BSF officer Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey. Just as intense as the packed trains of Mumbai, this movie follows the true story of the Indian Army’s mission to stop terrorist Ghazi Baba. Using an explosive style, Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar guides Ground Zero as it comes rushing at the enemy.

He leaves behind his “lover” image, wears a bulletproof vest, and uses a steely gaze, showing how much more he can do than your Wi-Fi. The action sequences are so gripping that you’ll forget to check your phone (which is a miracle). People who enjoy suspense with a real-life background will find Ground Zero a nerve-wracking watch.

Kesari: Chapter 2 (JioHotstar, June 20): Akshay Kumar Returns with More Turban, More Trouble

Akshay Kumar is in theatres again, with his turban pulled so tight that your hang-up about cricket seems quite loose by comparison. In Kesari: Chapter 2, Akshay Kumar and his heroic soldiers return to battle and show their emotions again. If you thought the first chapter was full of patriotism, hold on tight for another significant portion. The film tells about people who never got their credit, weaving in essential events, courageous actions, and many slow-motion scenes to elevate their stories. Fans of movies with historical themes and decisive action will love Kesari: Chapter 2. And don’t say we didn’t tell you if you are whistling patriotic tunes by the sink.

Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan (Sony LIV, June 4): Royal Drama with a Side of Sword Fights

Historical epics are Bollywood’s answer to biryani—layered, spicy, and always a little over the top. Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan throws you into the 12th-century chaos where a young prince (played by Ronit Roy) must navigate palace intrigue, assassination plots, and the not-so-friendly neighborhood invader, Mohammed Ghori. The stakes? Simply his beloved kingdom, his bright legacy, and that great mustache. Padmini Kolhapuri adds much weight to the story, and Sagar Arts gives us plenty of action and melodrama. If you’ve been interested in Game of Thrones, except that it’s all Sanskrit and very little snow, this is what you’re looking for.

Housefull 5 (Theatrical , June 6): Ghosts, Gags, and Goofiness Galore

When you thought Bollywood had run out of ways to make you laugh, Housefull 5 arrives like a baraat at midnight—loud, chaotic, and impossible to ignore. The next comedy of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and the gang has them trapped inside a palace, where residents and guests are as puzzled as the ghosts. Under the direction of Tarun Mansukhani, the movie never stops being funny with its pranks, unexpected moments, and unending jokes. There’s not much logic in this film, but if you want an unrealistic diversion, this is perfect after a tough week. There are side effects, like laughing at nothing and the urge to start dancing loudly to catchy music.

Bhool Chuk Maaf (JioHotstar, June 6): Rajkummar Rao’s Comedy of Errors

If you ever feel your world is full of mistakes, prepare for the hilarity in Bhool Chuk Maaf, starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi. The movie is full of laughs brought by small mistakes, confused people, and situations that seem to work against one another. Because of Rajkummar’s comedy and Wamiqa’s joy, the movie underlines how making fun of our problems can be the best solution. The film has good jokes and catchy lines, and the leading actors have a chemistry that is as perfect as a crisp and fresh can of Thums Up. Enjoy something light, laid-back, and amusing? This month, Bhool Chuk Maaf is your best option.
