Visually Impaired Kashmiri Scholar Completes Ph.D., Exemplifies Inclusive India

Ishaq Ahmad Magry, a visually impaired scholar from Hindwara in Jammu and Kashmir, recently completed his Ph.D. in Mughal Administration and Polity in Jawahar from Jawahar Lal Nehru University in New Delhi after nine years of dedication.

Despite his disability, Magry has demonstrated incredible determination and perseverance, traveling from his home in Kashmir to embrace people from diverse religious and social backgrounds who have helped him achieve his academic success.

Ishaq Ahmad Magry believes that such inclusiveness is what will make India a superpower. Magry’s journey serves as a beautiful example of an Inclusive India.
