A Heartwarming Gesture: Hotel Vaibhav’s Generosity During Ramzan

In the heart of Ajmer, Rajasthan is a fascinating institution known as Hotel Vaibhav, owned by a Hindu family, which has been making a touching gesture towards Muslims keeping fasting throughout the holy month of Ramzan.

Tradition of Generosity

The custom of supplying free housing and boarding to fasting Muslims was established by Jitendra Goyal, the father of the current owner, Aditya Goyal, in 2016. Since then, this great practice has continued, with 512 pious people benefiting from it till last year.

Aditya Goyal describes how this custom started when, in 2015, four fasting Muslims asked his father for housing but acknowledged their inability to fund a month’s stay. Jitendra Goyal promised them a free stay without hesitation, adding that they need not worry about the expenditures.

Embracing the Spirit of Ramzan

Guests at Hotel Vaibhav receive free housing and boarding and engage in the daily Iftar meals to break their fast and have a specific location for offering Namaz. Aditya Goyal underlines that visitors and others from adjacent regions are invited to partake in the Iftar festivities.

Despite confronting problems like the aftermath of the COVID-19 outbreak, the hotel continues to provide this compassionate service throughout Ramzan, displaying a profound commitment to social responsibility and compassion.

Looking Ahead

Aditya Goyal shares his delight in being able to help people in need during this holy month. He hopes to expand this provision to their other hotels in Ajmer, trying to guarantee that every person, regardless of financial condition, may share in the spiritual experience of Ramzan.

The act of Hotel Vaibhav and OYO has gained enormous applause, with visitors like Jabbar Mansoori from Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, appreciating their efforts to serve poor areas during Ramzan.

In summary, Hotel Vaibhav’s legacy of charity represents the genuine spirit of Ramzan, creating togetherness, compassion, and inclusiveness among the community.
