Indian Archers Shine With Gold & Bronze Medals At Archery World Cup 2023

India’s archery prowess was fully displayed at the Archery World Cup 2023 Stage 4 in Paris, culminating in a triumphant finish with five medals. The nation’s skilled archers clinched two gold and three bronze medals, cementing their dominance in the global archery arena.

The Indian women’s compound archery team, composed of Aditi Gopichand Swami, Jyothi Surekha Vennam, and Parneet Kaur, emerged as shining stars by capturing a brilliant gold medal. Their remarkable performance was reminiscent of their recent victory at the Archery World Championships in Berlin, where the same trio had secured a gold medal.

Following suit, the Indian men’s compound team, featuring Ojas Pravin Deotale, Prathamesh Jawkar, and Abhishek Verma, exhibited exceptional skill and teamwork to secure another gold medal. Indian men’s and women’s recurve teams, demonstrating unwavering excellence, contributed to the medal haul with well-deserved bronze medals.

Jyothi Surekha Vennam added to India’s medal tally, securing a bronze in the women’s compound competition, affirming her individual prowess.
