PM Modi Applauded for Propagating Peace at Ladakh World Peace Conference

Religious preachers and community leaders praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts in spreading the message of peace and harmony worldwide during the World Peace Conference held in Ladakh. Participating leaders lauded PM Modi’s role as a global peacemaker, emphasizing his call for dialogue and understanding to address global issues.

The three-day event, attended by thousands of religious figures, scholars, and devotees, concluded with the signing of a 10-point Ladakh peace declaration. This declaration urged an immediate ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia and a commitment to non-violence in pursuit of peace.

The declaration was signed after a 32-day-long ‘Padh Yatra’ by 150 Buddhist monks and laypersons from Thailand, culminating in an international peace conference in Leh, Ladakh. The presence of Satnam Singh Sandhu, the convenor of the Indian Minorities Foundation (IMF), added further significance to the conference.
