From G-20 Summit To Greatness: What’s Next On The Global Stage?

Atir Khan, the Editor-in-Chief of Awaz-the Voice, pens his thoughts on the G-20 Summit in India and the grand finale of India’s G-20 presidency. As the world leaders gather for this momentous occasion, it’s evident that India’s time has come. The theme, “One Earth, one family, one future,” reflects the profound concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, emphasizing unity for a brighter tomorrow.

India’s meticulously planned and successful G-20 presidency dispels outdated stereotypes, showcasing the nation’s progress beyond the misconceptions of the past. With a burgeoning middle class, India stands ready to assume global leadership.

We now live in a remarkably peaceful and prosperous world, with improved standards of living and extended lifespans. India’s trajectory is favorable, driven by a youthful workforce. A middle-class world is emerging, with middle-class values shaping the future. India’s challenge is to foster positive nationalism, prioritizing development over religious identities, and resolving internal tensions.
