Wildlife Roams Fearlessly

Wildlife: The Royal Bengal Tigers of Kaziranga National Park survive here because of the easy availability of prey, water & adequate jungle cover. These tigers of Kaziranga National Park feed on spotted deers swamp deers, sambar deers, wild boards, buffaloes etc.

The barasingha, also known as the swamp deer, The swamp deer differs from all other Indian deer species in that the antlers carry more than three tines. The barasingha is a large deer with a shoulder height of 110 to 120 cm and a head-to-body length of nearly 6 ft or 180 cm.
