Response to Criticism

Syed Naseruddin Chishty, the successor to the Ajmer Dargah chief said most people do believe in the Dargah and many send chadars to Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti’s shrine. Chishty thanked the Prime Minister for the unity and peace, he added that sending chadar is an act of worship. He said this act alone serves as a warning to those who want to depolarize the country along the religious divide. Chishty argued that the Prime Minister has embraced all the aspects of togetherness, trust, and respect.
