Miss World 2023: Reigning Queen Karolina Bielawska Falls in Love with Kashmir’s Scenic Splendor

In an extraordinary year for Srinagar, the Miss World Beauty Pageant is set to grace the city’s grandeur, reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska from Poland enraptured by the breathtaking landscapes of the Kashmir Valley. Following the notable G-20 tourism conference held in Srinagar two months earlier, this high-profile event is scheduled for December 9.

Karolina Bielawska’s visit to Srinagar commenced on Monday, marked by her presence at the 71st Miss World 2023 press conference. Overflowing with gratitude, Karolina expressed her astonishment at the beauty of Kashmir, a place she did not anticipate visiting. Her profound appreciation for the warm reception and mesmerizing scenery was palpable.

Miss World India, Sini Shetty, and Miss Caribbean, Emmy Pena, join the reigning Miss World, adding to the event’s prestige. Karolina conveyed her eagerness to share India’s wonders with the world, mentioning iconic places like Kashmir, Delhi, and Mumbai. With her third visit to India, she applauded the nation’s diversity and heartwarming hospitality.

Immersing in the local culture, the trio donned traditional Kashmiri attire, their crowns harmonizing with the aesthetics. Their fascination with Kashmiri handicrafts led them to the Sheri-Kashmir International Conference Centre, where they marveled at the craftsmanship that encapsulates the region’s cultural heritage. The iconic Jhelum River offered them a serene view to cherish.

Jamil Saidi, Chairman of PME Entertainment, expressed his deep connection to Kashmir and lauded its unity in diversity. Miss Julia Morley, Chairman & CEO of Miss World Organization, commended the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation for an enriching experience and their impactful work.

Karolina’s itinerary included a shikara ride on Dal Lake and a delectable lunch. Her desire to explore various states reflected her enthusiasm for India’s culture and values. She wished to uncover Goa’s beach life, appreciate Manipur’s natural beauty, and engage with the intellect of Bangalore’s business community. India’s hosting of Miss World 2023 marks the event’s return after 27 years, the last being in 1996.

Karolina Bielawska, Miss World 2021, emerges as a remarkable beauty queen and a passionate advocate, UN Messenger of Peace Goodwill Ambassador, and philanthropist. As Srinagar prepares for the grand event, the world anticipates the showcase of beauty, culture, and unity that Miss World 2023 in India promises to deliver.
