Alia Nasrin: A Young Talent crossing over various cultures

Alia Nasrin Rahman is a young girl from a Muslim family in Nalbari, Assam. She has learned Sanskrit which is one of the old languages of the world related to Hindu holy books. I first began learning this language at the age of 10 years old Alia. She can easily say all the verses in the Bhagwat Gita very well. Apart from Sanskrit she is fluent in reciting kalma and surah in Arabic languages very well.

Alia Nasrin: A Gifted Performer

Alia is the first child of the family of Mukibur Rahman and Papori Begum. Not only is she fluent in languages she is also inclined in arts. Alia performs the Satriya, which is classical dance, but she takes lessons in Kathak too. She likes singing as well as painting also. His father, Mukibur, pays particular attention to the fact that she must know about all religions. He speaks of recognising people and being accepting towards them. He assists Alia to practise gita at home alongside explaining to her holy Quran and Hadith. She receives Arabic education at the mosque and performs the prayer with her father.

Alia Nasrin: Recognition and Support

Alia studies kalma with the mosque cleric, and also learns about namaz and fasting. Her father is still going to introduce her to all these religions in the future. Alia likes to dance and she usually dances in schools’ social events. Nonetheless, she has zero dance experience; her father has signed her up for art school this year. Alia has given many competitions and has got several awards like Shilpi Sadhana Award of Kazipara Club. Many have been impressed by her talent and it is the same impression that’s from the Hindu community. Despite that, some in the Muslim community frown at her, her father is one who will turn a blind eye on such. He lays much stress on the concepts’ comprehension, including all aspects in the world and the peaceful perception of the world. Alia has compact parents who help her learn language, culture, and religion and all these ways help make Alia a successful person.
