He mentioned the potential for a future free from the influence of Hezbollah in Lebanon and the oppressive regime of Assad in Syria. As Joe Biden prepares to leave office, he reflected on the shifting dynamics in the region, stating, “Our friends are strong, our enemies are weak.” He expressed hope for a future where Israel normalizes relations with its Arab neighbors, including Saudi Arabia. However, he also acknowledged the risks posed by groups like ISIS and Iran, reminding everyone that the next administration will inherit both challenges and opportunities for a better future in the Middle East.
