Kashmir Welcomes a Thriving Influx of Northeastern Tourists

With tranquility restored in the Kashmir Valley, tourists from the Northeast are once again flocking to the much-awaited ‘Paradise on Earth.’ Based on official data and tour operators’ input, around 25,000 visitors from Assam and neighboring regions explored Kashmir in 2022.

Encouragingly, the number is set to surge, with an estimated 12,000 tourists from the Northeast in the first half of 2023 alone.
