Owais Manzoor, a 21-year-old from Hangishart village in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, has made history as the first commercial pilot from his area. His journey began in childhood, fueled by a fascination with aviation and the mechanics of flight. After completing his schooling in Kashmir, Owais pursued his dream by joining the aviation sector. He successfully cleared the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) exams and completed 200 hours of flying at Redbird Flight Training Academy in Karnataka.
