Delhi-Mumbai Expressway: PM Modi inaugurates 246-km stretch from Dausa

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 246-km Delhi-Dausa-Lalsot section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway from Dausa in Rajasthan on Sunday, with the new stretch set to reduce the travel time from the national capital to Jaipur from five hours to around three and a half hours.

Modi pressed a remote button to mark the opening of the Delhi-Dausa-Lalsot section.

Developed at the cost of more than ₹12,150 crores, this first completed section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will significantly boost the economic development of the entire region, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said.

Modi launched road development projects worth more than ₹18,100 crores from Dausa. During the program, Modi laid the foundation stone of 247 km of national highway projects to be developed at the cost of more than ₹5,940 crores. For a detailed story, visit: Hindustan Times
