Diverse Guests To Grace India’s 75th Independence Day Celebrations

Around 1,800 special guests from across India will have the honor of attending the 75th Independence Day flag hoisting ceremony by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the iconic Red Fort. As India marks its 75th year of independence, diverse individuals, including village sarpanches, teachers, nurses, farmers, fishermen, and contributors to key national projects, have been invited to join the celebrations in New Delhi.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare promotes “Jan Bhagidari” through a special event. Various beneficiaries like Central Vista contributors, khadi workers, acclaimed teachers, and leaders from projects such as Amrit Sarovar and Har Ghar Jal Yojana have been invited to join.

Two Maharashtra beneficiaries of PM-KISAN, Ashok Sudam Ghule, and Vijay Gotiram Thakare, will also attend. Ghule, a sugarcane farmer, expressed his excitement, stating that visiting the Red Fort on Independence Day is a dream fulfilled. Thakare, a traditional rice and vegetable farmer, has been a beneficiary of PM-KISAN since 2019.
