IIHM Launches New Hospitality Skills Institute in Dehradun

The International Institute of Hospitality Skills (IIHS) is a fresh initiative by the well-known International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM). This new institute wants to help young people get good jobs in the hospitality world. IIHS plans to open 100 training centers across India in just two years, with a big goal of training 100,000 unemployed youth.

Courses and Opportunities

IIHS offers many different courses for students who want to work in hotels and restaurants. They have diploma courses that last from 3 to 12 months, including training in luxury hotel operations, kitchen work, and bar services. Students need to have passed Class 10 or 12 to join. The best part? IIHS promises a job offer letter when you join their courses! They teach important skills like cooking, service, front office work, housekeeping, and even food safety rules.

Why is IIHS Special?

The institute is backed by big names in the hospitality industry. They have agreements with famous hotel groups like Marriott, Accor Hotels, and Pride Hotels. Their certificates are recognized by government organizations like the Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council and Skill India. Dr. Suborno Bose, the founder, specially chose Dehradun because it’s a famous tourist spot. The launch was attended by important people from schools and hotels, showing how serious they are about training good hospitality professionals.

IIHS wants to do more than just teach skills. They want to create leaders who understand the hospitality industry, know the latest trends, and can work ethically. With their practical training and job connections, they hope to help young Indians build exciting careers in hotels and tourism.
