Sajna Ali: The Solo Traveler Who Turned Entrepreneur with Women-Only Travel Group Appooppanthaadi

In 2014, Sajna Ali’s passion for travel led her to start a women-only travel group after she went on a solo trip to Odisha from Thiruvananthapuram. Undeterred by her friends’ cancellations, Sajna turned her love for adventure into a profession and founded Appooppanthaadi, named after the milkweed plant that symbolizes freedom and spontaneity.

Over the years, Sajna Ali has organized 398 trips across Kerala and beyond, empowering women to explore new places and make unforgettable memories.

Sajna Ali’s story is a testament to the power of determination and attitude in turning one’s dreams into reality.
