The Pluralistic Minarets of Rampur Raza Library

Hamid Manzil, located 200 kilometres from New Delhi, is home to the renowned Rampur Raza Library. Its eight minarets serve as a remarkable symbol of pluralism in India. The bottom part of each minaret is designed in the shape of a Mosque, followed by a Church-like structure, a Sikh Gurudwara-inspired design, and a Hindu temple-shaped topmost part. Together, these minarets reflect the harmonious coexistence of various religions in India.

The unique architectural design of Hamid Manzil (Rampur Raza Library) celebrates diversity and is a testament to the country’s cultural and religious inclusivity.

The Library is now managed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh but remains closely associated with the Nawab family.
