Shah Rukh Khan Talks About “Mufasa: The Lion King”

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is excited for the release of “Mufasa: The Lion King”. He recently shared that Mufasa’s story feels very similar to his own life. In a new video, SRK talks about Mufasa’s journey and how he connects with it. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the video on X, saying, “Hear the legacy of Mufasa from Shah Rukh Khan himself.” He mentioned that SRK will voice Mufasa in the Hindi version of the film, which will be released in cinemas on December 20, 2024, in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The Hindi version will also be available in IMAX.

Mufasa’s Inspiring Story

In the video, SRK describes Mufasa as a king who did not inherit power but instead faced loneliness. He says, “Yeh kahani hai ek aise raja ki, jise siyasat ki roshni nahin, tanhaiyon ki virasat mili,” meaning this is the story of a king who received a legacy of loneliness instead of political power. SRK emphasizes Mufasa’s passion, saying it helped him rise from the ground to touch the sky. He adds, “Zameen par toh kai badshah hukumat karte aaye hain, par usne raaj kiya sabhi ke dilon ka,” which means many kings have ruled the earth, but Mufasa ruled everyone’s hearts.

The trailer for ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ was also released, showing the beautiful jungle world and featuring a talented voice cast. Shah Rukh Khan voices Mufasa, while his son Aryan Khan voices Simba, and his youngest son AbRam voices young Mufasa. Other cast members include Sanjay Mishra as Pumbaa and Shreyas Talpade as Timon.
