A Spectacle of Women Empowerment at the 75th Republic Day Parade

In a dazzling display of inclusivity, the upcoming 75th Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path promises to be a remarkable showcase of India’s diverse cultural tapestry. From a 100-women musical ensemble to tri-services women and central security forces contingents, the parade aims to present India’s journey of inclusive growth to the global audience.

‘Anant Sutra’ Installation: Weaving India’s Saree Legacy

Positioned behind the spectators, the textile installation ‘Anant Sutra – The Endless Thread’ is set to mesmerize onlookers. This visual tribute to the saree, India’s iconic contribution to the fashion world, features nearly 1,900 sarees and drapes from every corner of the country. Mounted at a height with wooden frames along the Kartavya Path, this installation is a testament to India’s rich textile heritage.

Themes and Commencement: ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Bharat – Loktantra ki Matruka’

Under the themes ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Bharat – Loktantra ki Matruka,’ the 75th Republic Day Parade will commence with a striking performance by 100 women playing diverse musical instruments such as Sankh, Naadswaram, Nagada, and more.

International Participation: France Joins the Celebration

French President Emmanuel Macron, the Chief Guest at this year’s parade, will add an international flair. A 95-member marching contingent and a 33-member band from France, along with aircraft from the French Air Force, will participate in the event.

Special Guests: Honoring Excellence Across Fields

This year, 13,000 special guests, including achievers from various fields and beneficiaries of government schemes, will witness the parade. From successful implementers of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to Paralympic medalists, these individuals represent the spirit of achievement and progress.

Cultural Showcase: 25 Tableaux on Display

A total of 25 tableaux, representing 16 States/UTs and nine Ministries/Departments, will roll down the Kartavya Path. Each tableau tells a unique story, contributing to the vibrant narrative of India’s cultural diversity.

‘Anant Sutra’ Insights: QR Codes for Weaving and Embroidery Arts

The Ministry of Culture’s ‘Anant Sutra – The Endless Thread’ installation will incorporate QR codes, allowing spectators to delve into the intricate details of weaving and embroidery arts used in this masterpiece.

Modern Invitations: Securing and Streamlining Attendance

To foster extensive public participation, the available seats have been augmented. Consequently, an increased number of public tickets are now accessible for booking at www.aamantran.mod.gov.in.
