This cohesive community can be witnessed toiling in their fields, cultivating paddy, jute, and mustard. Jamia Ahle Sunnat Jauharul Uloom: Nurturing Education in Diversity

At the heart of Gunjaria lies Jamia Ahle Sunnat Jauharul Uloom, a private co-educational madrasa fostering education for both girls and boys. Master Mohammed Aslam, an advocate for holistic education, emphasizes the importance of children studying until high school. 

A Glimpse into Sarkar Patti’s 700-Year Heritage

Gunjaria Village’s history unfolds over 700 years, with “Sarkar Patti” serving as a longstanding community. Master Mohammed Aslam, a resident of Sarkar Patti, traces the roots back to 1537-38 AD during the Mughal era. The village’s origin, intertwined with Mughal invasions and subsequent reclaiming, adds a historical layer to its cultural richness.

Peaceful Coexistence: Muslims and Hindus Through Generations

Throughout its evolution, Gunjaria has been a testament to the peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Hindus. With Shibhu Mahuti overseeing the oldest Hindu temple and 14 Hindu communities contributing to the village’s vibrancy, Gunjaria is a living example of communal harmony.
