Sumit Antil defended his javelin throw title, breaking his own record twice! In badminton, Nitesh beat a tough opponent to win gold in men’s singles.

Other stars include Nishad Kumar (silver in high jump), Yogesh Kathuniya (silver in discus throw), and Preeti Pal (two bronze medals in running events). The archery team of Rakesh Kumar and Sheetal Devi also won bronze.

A Wide Range of Medals

Indians have won medals in many different sports:

1. Shooting: Gold for Avani, silver for Manish, and bronze for Mona and Rubina.
