Mrs. India USA

Vipula Roy, a girl from Asansol, was crowned Mrs. India USA 2023 at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center on November 19. The Vergilia Productions, Inc. cultural beauty pageant celebrated its 34th anniversary this year. She also received a special award for ‘Excellence in Community Service.’

National Dress of Vipula

The national dress of Vipula was the peacock, the national bird of India. Vipula made a deliberate decision to represent something easily relatable to international audiences while showcasing the symbol of a free and independent India. L.A.-based designer Marvin Bendana created the harnessed peacock feather backdrop for the national costume. Vipula wore a golden evening gown for the evening gown round. The color gold stands for accomplishment, success, and triumph on stage. Vipula’s golden gown has been designed by Tommy Lay of 3T Fabulous & Co…
Vipula, born and raised in the steel city of Burnpur, has always aspired to represent India on a powerful platform. Vipula was excited to participate in the Virgilia Productions-hosted international beauty competition when she heard about it.
