Batool studied until she reached the school’s specified age limit, then she married at 16.

Rise to Fame

Through her persistent devotion she moved from local showcase performances toward global success worldwide. Batool Begum became internationally recognized for her singing by audiences across India and in America, Britain, France and Germany. As a member of ‘Bollywood Klezmer’ she joined forces with musicians from around the world to form an international ensemble that united performers to build social solidarity between different cultural backgrounds.
