Youngest Rapper in Kashmir: Arfat Mohideen Bhat’s Phenomenal Journey in Music

Arfat Mohideen Bhat, a ten-year-old rapper from Prichoo village in Pulwama, is creating a buzz on social media. Despite his young age, he is already a sensation as the youngest rapper in Kashmir. Despite being only a 7th-standard student, his talent has made him an overnight star.

Making Waves with Talented Raps

Arfat’s journey into the world of music started with a fascination for rap songs he saw on YouTube. During the COVID-19 lockdown, he recorded his first hip-hop song and uploaded it to his Facebook profile. Encouraged by the four lakh views his first video received, Arfat created the “RAP-KID ARFAT” YouTube channel and recorded 11 songs that gained over four lakh views and 17 thousand subscribers.

Support from Uncle Hilal Ahmad

Arafat’s uncle, Hilal Ahmad, has played a crucial role in managing his social media accounts and guiding him in his music career. Ahmad states that Arafat had been interested in music and singing from a young age but developed a particular interest in rap and hip-hop during the lockdown. Arfat has received an outpouring of love and support from the public, which has motivated him to continue singing.

Arfat’s Rapid Rise to Fame

Arafat’s recent success has even caught the attention of OTT platform Netflix, who reached out to him for a potential project, though details were not disclosed. Arfat’s fame grows fast, featured in “Lost Love.” Their family, including the father, supports and hopes for his future success.

Arfat expresses gratitude to his supportive family, who has consistently backed him up. Ghulam Mohideen Bhat, Arfat’s father, likes what his son is doing and is fully supportive, offering help in any way possible.
