Faraz Javed Offers Free Lord Shiva Tattoos During Sawan Month

Faraz Javed, a 30-year-old tattoo artist from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, offers free Lord Shiva tattoos during the holy month of Sawan. He aims to make 51,000 tattoos, just like he did for Lord Ram during the Ayodhya temple opening in February. Faraz, an MBA graduate, owns a shop in Naveen Market, which is always busy with customers.

The tattoos, which usually cost around Rs 1400-1500 each, will be free from 2 to 8 pm daily. Faraz offers designs of Lord Shiva’s image, Shivling, and “Om Namah Shivay”. This generous act will cost him about Rs 7.5 crore, but he believes God guides him to do this.

Bridging Religious Divides

Faraz’s initiative is helping to strengthen bonds between Hindus and Muslims, India’s largest religious groups. He told the media that everyone should support others however they can. As an artist, Faraz respects all faiths and sees no better way to express his beliefs than through his art.

This gesture comes when there’s some tension over the display of names on food stalls along the Kanwar pilgrimage route. Despite this, Faraz continues his mission to promote unity.

Safety and Technology in Tattooing

With 14 years of experience, Faraz assures that getting a tattoo is safe. He uses the latest technology and fresh needles for each tattoo to ensure health and safety. He explains that there are no side effects when proper procedures are followed.

Faraz’s charitable work has gained attention in the media, making his shop a popular spot in Kanpur. His actions show how art can be used to bring people together and express faith, regardless of religious differences. Through his generosity, Faraz is setting an example of communal harmony in India.
