According to Dr. Dimple Jangda, an Ayurveda and gut health coach, heat rashes occur when the sweat glands in the skin are blocked, causing sweat to build up in the top layers.
In her recent Instagram post, Dr. Jangda shared some insights into the causes of heat rashes and offered some effective Ayurvedic remedies to treat them.
Dr. Jangda explained that ductal ruptures, excessive sweating, bacterial infections, and other risk factors could cause heat rashes. When the sweat glands are blocked, the sweat cannot reach the skin’s surface, causing irritation, redness, and discomfort.
